Long Way From Home – Spring Tour 2018 image Recover Reveal – Our Second Album

It’s been two years (almost to the day) since we headed to Metway Studio to record our first album. Yes, we can’t believe it either! If you joined us for any of our shows in 2017, you’ll have noticed that we’ve gradually been introducing new songs into our set as the year’s moved on. Well, here we are at the beginning of 2018, and we’re happy to say that we’re going to be putting these together on a brand new album for you!

We will be heading down to Cube Studio in the beautiful county of Cornwall, where the arguably misguided idea of putting the band together was founded, so it’s rather fitting that we’ll be returning four years later to write some new songs, don’t you think? We’ve even managed to get Al Scott on board again (yes, THE Al Scott, of Levellers/Oysterband fame!)

Of course, we wouldn’t be in the position to be able to do a new album without the continued support of you guys. Back in November 2015, we ran a crowd-funding campaign to make Along The Old Straight Track a reality, and we were absolutely staggered by the response from everyone. Not only did we reach our target, you guys smashed right through it within 6 weeks. SIX. WEEKS!!

That’s right, you’ve guessed it. We’re calling on your help once again.

Please take five minutes of your time and take a look at our new campaign at supporttheleylines.com We have so many new, awesome things on offer, and as that relatively well-known supermarket retailer says, “Every Little Helps”! We want to get you guys involved as much as possible, and obviously make the best record we can, so even if it’s a keyring, or a lesson with one of us (oh yes, that’s a thing!) any help from you lot would be very much appreciated!

We’re so excited to be finally doing our second album, and we hope that you’ll join us for the journey.

Thanks everyone!
